2011 Comet Drop for Autism

June 2011 sees our biggest annual fundraiser of the year in the shape of ‘The Comet Drop’.

We will be staging a spectacular ’ Comet Drop’ from a high kite as part of the Rougham Estates ‘Country Fair’ on Saturday 25th June 2011.

This will both raise awareness of autism in our community and raise much-needed funds to continue and build on the support that we now offer to people affected by autism throughout West Suffolk.

This includes valuable support and regular social opportunities for children, teenagers and adults as well as special autism-friendly events which have enabled many autistic people in West Suffolk to take part in and enjoy traditional social festivities for the first time ever – including bowling, golf, family picnics, canoeing and our regular Autism Friendly Cinema screenings and alternative Christmas party.
